This is happening to me as I write this post šā£
ā£
Today was a great weather in the Netherlands (at least till 7pm, then it became cloudy again). After work, I travelled to Amsterdam to meet friends. We had some drinks, smoked nargilah (hookah), and drank again. ā£
ā£
The time flew quickly. It was getting late, so I checked the train schedule. There were no more direct trains back to Rotterdam, so my only option was a slow train (70-80 mins). ā£
ā£
I said my goodbyes to friends and went to the train station. I got on the train and was happy that I am on my way home.ā£
ā£
After 15 minutes, I realized that the conductor was announcing the wrong stations. I was heading in the opposite direction š¤¦š½āāļø ā£
ā£
I got off on the next stop (Heemskerk, a small village 20km away from Amsterdam). It was 1 am already. I checked the app, and the next train home is at 6.08 am. Fuuun... I was ready to spend a night at the station (not my first time š). But then I saw a train going to Alkmaar, the next big city nearby. I got on a train hoping for better sleeping conditions in Alkmaar. ā£
ā£
In the meantime, I texted my best friend @dima_ojog, who lives in Amsterdam. He has a car, so I hoped that he was awake, sober, and willing to have an 'exciting' night trip to Alkmaar š ā£
ā£
It is 5 am. I am in Amsterdam having another drink and singing songs š ā£
ā£
Life is unpredictable!⣠Enjoy it to the fullest and value your friends! š
