CAR ACCIDENT

It was late at night. We were coming back from a beach party. As always, we found a car that was going our direction, negotiated the price and were on our way home. But after 5-10 mins we got stuck in a traffic jam. A traffic jam at 3 am 🤔 We had no clue what happened.
As we were slowly moving forward, we saw a car crashed into trees. Luckily nobody got injured, and the auto wasn't damaged badly. Our driver had a rope, so we stopped and tried to help out. You may wonder "Why nobody called the police or a towing company?" I have no clue, but nobody even asked. I don't think it is a common practice, especially if the driver was high or drunk.
The crash occurred right at a turn, so a friend of mine and I were "playing" a role of traffic regulators. The rest of the group was trying to figure out how to get the car out of the trees. The rope we had was useless, so another fellow drove his scooter to a nearby village to find a proper one. He returned with one, but it was also too thin. After a while, our driver decided to leave. I think he was just tired and wanted to go home.
We don't know what happened in the end. By the time we got home, we had forgotten about the car accident and were already discussing the next day's plans.
P.S. Don't rent a car in Jamaica, or if you do make sure to film it from every angle. The majority of rented vehicles have at least a few bumps, scratches or other damages.
