EVERY SINGLE BIT MATTERS (PART III - FINAL)

Part I and II are in my previous posts So, I have registered for my 5th attempt early in May. I don't remember much from that day, but one detail: I felt like a robot. I went to the exam centre. Sat down. Put on my headphones. Answered questions. Went back home. That was it. The exam was over. There was nothing else that I could do but wait. The first week dragged like hell. The second one felt like an eternity. As time went on, I started preparing for the government exam and celebrating my last day at high school. Suddenly the 1st of June knocked on my door. It's been almost a month since my previous attempt, and I still haven't received the final score. But I allowed myself to forget about it because my 17th birthday was approaching 🎁🎉

The day has finally come! All the family members came to visit. We were all laughing, remembering the past, discussing the future. When it was time to eat the cake, my brother with cousins decided to dip my face in it (photo as a proof 😂 Cannot recall if anyone ate the cake after 😄). Time flew by. It was around 10 pm when people started to leave, and by 11 pm everyone was gone. It was getting late, and I was about to go to sleep when mom asked me to check my e-mail, just in case. I didn't want to, as I was afraid to see a low score and ruin my birthday, but mom insisted. So, I used her computer, logged in, and I saw the result. 80!!! Bloody 80!!! Before even saying anything to my parents, I was jumping and screaming around from happiness (poor our neighbours 🙄). I couldn't believe it!! It was a great "cherry" on top of the birthday celebration!! I was the happiest person on Earth. But when I saw my parents' faces, I knew that THEY were the happiest people on Earth 😊

At that moment I realised that I am moving to Rotterdam! To a city which I am now calling my second home! 🤩
