JAMAICAN CUISINE

Let's talk about Jamaican food today. Jamaican cuisine is simple and damn tasty. There are three dishes which I loved, and you can find them everywhere in Jamaica.
1. Rice and beans. Ingredients are actually what the name says: rice and beans. That's it. Simple and very delicious. Most commonly used beans are black and red. In most places, no extra spices are used, but sometimes thyme is added for a flavour.
There is even a song called "Rice and peas" by Chi Ching Ching (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6caV4sIN3r4)
2. Jerk chicken. It is a marinated grilled chicken and tastes just like heaven, especially when

you are hungry. But you need to know the right place; otherwise, you may end up with only bones.
3. Jamaican festivals (Caribbean fried dumplings). I could eat them all day! It is just a sweet fried dough but omg how tasty they were 🤩
P.S. As I was writing this post, I started googling for a Caribbean restaurant to book for dinner next week 😃
