THIS IS HOW IT ALL STARTED ...

I wrote my first ever blog post back in 2012. I wrote two posts but didn't promote them and kept them private. The idea hasn't picked up.

I reactivated my account again in 2018. This time I posted four posts in 4 months. "Yaaaay! It is working!" I thought. Well, not really... I was in a bad place back then, and the posts were not exciting.

I should admit that the first two tries were just for fun. I wasn't planning to share the posts with anyone, so haven't put much effort.

Now in 2020, I am trying again. But this time I thought everything through: from topics, concept, logo, and platforms. "Third time's a charm" they say, so let's see 😁

Inspiration to start Nij The Explorer came from the following:

• I enjoy talking to people, hearing their stories, sharing mine. I felt the time has come to put my stories on paper (digital paper 😉) which I can always revisit whenever I want

• I read Adam Kay "This is going to hurt". I love this book because of its humour and how easy it is to read. He was an ordinary doctor who started writing and inspired me to try the same

• Another friend of mine, who was my manager, started a blog and showed me that you need to start and the rest will follow

• ... and of course, I wanted to start my project. I have stories that I tell my friends and family, so why not to share them with a broader audience? Maybe more people would find them interesting 🙃
