My logo is like a country flag, where each element has its meaning. Let me explain what my logo means.
"Nij the explorer" name
When I was living in South Korea, I had a Catalan classmate, and she started calling me Nij. A year after, I started working and had a colleague who was also Catalan. She also started calling me "Nij", and it stuck with me. So, since then "Nij" became my nickname 😀 As for "the explorer", I like to visit new countries, learn about other cultures, try new experiences, in other words, I enjoy exploring 🧐
Colours: Burgundy (dark red) and Blue
These are my two favourite colours since childhood. Dark red became my favourite since I started supporting Manchester United, while my love for blue was impacted by growing up by the Caspian sea.
Orizuru (origami crane)
In Japan, cranes are a symbol of peace, and my name means "salvation". So, I see a connection between the two 😀 Also, the Japanese refer to the crane as the bird of happiness. People who know me describe me as a happy person 😀
A circle with outside dots
Dots represent the stories I am writing about, and by facing outward, they symbolize me sharing them with you.
Now you know the meaning behind the logo, and I hope you are enjoying reading the stories!
Starting from tomorrow, 90% of my posts will be about travel, with 10% the rest. So, keep your eyes open as many more exciting stories to come 😉
